When i used the Miui on my Galaxy, one of the finest apps was the backup.
No third party apps.
On the Hongmi i want to use it again ,but I am not able to choose where to put the backup, nor extended Sd card nor a OTG supported usb stick, and that is a pitty .
Have found a solution to make a backup to the OTG drive
USB OTG Helper from the playstore
then choose mount in titanium search for drive and on you go
