I've switched to Miui a week ago today. It's wonderful
One bug which is a little concerning is the 'battery usage' breakdown. Previously ( ie running HTC's Sense ), the display was using around 50% of the battery, followed by 'phone idle' and 'cell standby', which together made a majority of the rest of the battery use. This seemed to make sense.
With both Miui 1.6.10 and 1.6.17, 'cell standby' and 'phone idle' together make up about 95% of the claimed battery use ( in equal portions ), and 'display' never moves from 1%.
Further to this, I'm not seeing any significant change in battery life compared to HTC's firmware. With 'medium' use ( display on for about an hour a day, I guess ), I get about 7 or 8 hours out of a full charge. I was under the impression things would improve a little. Anyway ... I'm not too concerned about this - it's not worse than before - but it would be cool if the 'display' power consumption was correctly reported.
