bluetooth streaming issue

Hi everyone!
I have been using bluetooth streaming for a few years now on my car stereo.
Since the last 4 updates I have noticed that if the screen on my mi2s switches off then the music starts playing like a scratched CD (skipping).
But as soon as I press the power button on the phone, it's fine again.

Is there a setting I need to change? does anyone got this issue to ? I'm using the latest build.

I have invastigate it furter. When screen is on, there is no skipping in blutooth streaming which means it's a bug.
Do you know who can i contact at the miui dev team to report this ?
