New Bug? DND mode

Hi guys, on eu stable rom (mi 9 lite) I have this problem in DND mode.
With whatsapp altough DND mode activated i have sound in sending message (during a conversation). In silent mode the sound is mute.
Is this a bug of DND mode? Anyone gets this problem?

I have this problem on and off. I'm on the weekly beta. Have Auto dnd setup but often notification sounds come through (think mainly for Viber for me).

Manually disabling then enabling dnd seems to work.
