Just flashed my Redmi 4 Prime with the latest MIUI8.2 stable available from here. Everything seems to be working fine apart from the notifications for email. So using the out of the box email app I have defined a custom ringtone for every new email. However, when I select a custom ringtone (mp3 I put on the storage) it will not play it when a new email arrives. Basically it will play the default ringtone. Anyone else confirms this bug?
