Bugs in 1.9.2

Here are the bugs I found in 1.9.2 rom

1. Auto brightness turns off when the notification is pulled
2. MIUI browser FCs when I watch videos for a long time
3. The launcher does not go from another page to the home page when the home button is pressed

You guys can add other bugs you find in the comments.

I can confirm the auto brightness issue on DHD

1. Yes, a bug. The on/off toggle on the statusbar is broken. It works if you set it on directly in the display settings menu
2. Dunno about that one, havn't got it myself..
3. New feature, not a bug.

I can confirm the auto brightness bug. I have desire HD. A fix I used is to swithch the toggle settings from page to compact and not have brightness as a set toggle. This worked for me, its annoying but I suppose it is a good fix untilled the next update is released.

Ditto for the auto brightness and next to that a random disconnecting data connection. 100% disconnections after a restart and several times during the day. Wiped everything there is to wipe. Reflashed but no succes. Flashed 1.8.26 to check, no disconnecting data.

Another i've noticed is my phones speaker phone constantly turns itself on when I'm on a call? Anyone else with this?

Definitely have the auto brightness shutting off. I went to settings>personal>toggles and went to compact instead of page and that solved the problem. I will just use that until the next build. Haven't had the speaker problem on my nexus one.

An earlier problem has come back... WI-FI. I start webbrowsing, after a short time loading is "stuck", nothing happens... I switch off Wi-Fi, go back to mobile network... loading continues :S Once it worked well but now it's screwed again...
Call recording is also defective, only my voice can be heard.

on an Incredible 2 here are the bugs ive found:

1. soft key lights do not work - unless you are in the settings menu then they turn off immediately after leaving that menu.

2. wifi seems to be intermittent. which others have posted as well.

That wifi bug appears to have come in with the 2.3.5 merge. At xda and cyanogenmod, they figured it out. It has to do with the renewel rate on the router, take a look at this thread at xda http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=723844&page=2014 that explains it. In any case, the fix is being incorporated into cyanogenmod so hopefully it will make it into miui in the next build or so.

I too have the auto brightness bug. Also, a bug I've had for a few weeks is that contacts with names that start with a "v" or "y" don't sync. tried creating them on MIUI and online. Could be a Google problem, but the weird thing is, even if I create them in MIUI, they appear in my contacts online and in Gmail app they appear so I can still email them.

Ditto on the auto brightness thing.

Something else I've found is that I can't turn off the notification reminder or change it's ringtone.

Also, when I select multiple contacts to send a text to, when there names show up at the top it shows the number of contacts I've selected but it also shows some chinese characters next to the number.

+1: Torch on the lockscreen by long-pressing HOME button only works for about half a second. Not very annoying but if it's a feature, it should work Anyway... wi-fi problems are much more painful...
On the "pro" side: overall stability is way better than earlier, no FC so far - so they're heading for the right direction. Please, give us a fix for wifi, call recording and try to fix the slugginess of the scroll. In some sub-menus under Settings, it's terrible.

On SGS any of you have this problem??? my phone does not charge when it's turned off. It starts again and in an early changelog they said:Support for I9000 Charging whilst powered off.

I have an odd visual bug with the lock screen.
If I use the theme lockscreen wallpaper it is fine but if I set my own the right hand side has a sort of tear as if the wallpaper doesn't quite fill the screen right! It worked ok on previous version.
Bit odd really. Not exactly a major issue but thought I'd mention it. Can you guys try to reproduce and let me know. Try setting a lockscreen wall from the gallery.

I did a clean install (wipe all) for 1.9.2 on Acer Liquid (thanks to Lens_flare), but here are my findings:
- Auto brightness issue
- When going to the appstore and then "my apps" via the menu: Sometimes I have all my apps listed; sometimes I have only 1 or 2 listed. Problem is that the apps that are not listed, cannot be updated in that way.
- When called, the slider on the lockscreen can only be moved down when my phone is already ringing for 4 or 5 times. It stays locked before those 4 to 5 rings.

I am on desire. it seems I cannot create a new folder in any home screen. I see 4 options in new folder, but not the basic empty folder! others are starred contacts, Bluetooth received, etc.

Seems to be only ur phone issue.. Running on Desire aswell & I am able to create the folders..

I'm using HTC HD2 and MIUI 1.9.2 ROM. My data connection drops during calls and doesn't resume on ending up the call. In order to get the data active again either I should switch ON & OFF the Airplane Mode or need to restart the phone.

Is this a bug ??? I also came to know that many people are facing this problem. What could be the remedy ???

1. the auto brightness bug
2. brightness level adjustments don't work
3. loosing 2g connection when 2g-only mode is active (auto and 3g are ok)
4. black screen on incoming call

On HTC Desire. Also I didn't notice these in 8.26.

1) Auto-brightness as mentioned.
2) Random data turning off as mentioned. On the same pull-down as the auto-brightness.
3) Battery use - fcs frequently, but not always.

In the change log for 1.9.9 the auto brightness is fixed. I will update now and hopefully will see this problem go away.

Edit: Yes, it appears to be fixed. Good job developers!
