My work place offers a unique app for the organization which I wish to install.
they dont allow it to be installed on rooted devices, which the mi2 is..from birth :)
Is there a way to cancel root permissions, or somehow trick the app to think i dont have root?

If i turn off "Enable permission monitor" Its like having no root at all?
What if its on, but I dont give an application any permission, will it be able to determine if my phone has root access or not?

I think if you turn if off, it's like not having root at all. At least that's how some apps seem to react to it like your phone isn't rooted.

But if you turn it on, even if you don't give any permission, apps will see that they are allowed to ask, I don't think it would do the trick.

Might depends on what app you're using, best to go on the app to app basis.

You should turn "enable root permissions" off, there's no need to turn off "manage app permissions"
Also, the stable versions (latest is JLB20) doens't have root permissions.
