Can't receive sms after upgrade to hyper os

Hi,
After updating MIUI to hyper os on K40 Pro, can't receive sms.
Tried,
Switching to another sim - same.
Worked without issue before the upgrade to hyper os.

Have anyone faced this also?

Reallowed the read sms permitions - and it worked

No.
I mean app permission to SMS

settings > privacy > permission manager > SMS > select app and select "allow"

also check the permissions in the SMS app you are using

After changing this setting as on the screenshot to allow, all good.
Was deny after update
