Can't sign into google account

Hi,

I've got a WCDMA Hongmi (NOT 1S) and I've just updated to the version from the weekly rom releases and now I can't sign into my google account...

I did some searches, they suggested I look in my hosts file for strange things linking google addresses to the wrong server. But no such luck.

Any ideas?

I've now tried flashing a bunch of different version all show the same problem.
I did find a workaround however. If I turn WLAN off and use my data plan instead it seems to work. However as soon as I turn WLAN on it seems I don't get any contact with google. Playstore not working etc
