cant unlock bootloader

so im using xiaomitool v2 and ive been trying to unlock the bootloader but everytime the device enters fastboot mode it disconnects from my pc, how can i fix this?

Use official Mi unlock tool to unlock bootloader. Way better.

Use official Mi unlock tool to unlock bootloader. Way better. And why Fastboot ? You don't need to go in Fastboot to unlock the bootloader.

i tried dong it with the official unlock tool and when it tells me to hold down the volume down and power button the device enters fast boot and then connecting to the pc doesnt work

If this doesn't work you have to place the Mi Unlock folder in the root directory of your system (E.g: C:/Mi Unlock/...), otherwise it won't recognize the phone.
