Certain apps not working

My banking app - Mettle crashes and takes me to this page every time I try and start it. This problem has not happened before and it is stopping me from accessing my bank other than on my laptop.

Is there any way to defeat this obstacle?

Another app, apk linked here crashes on launch. Is this likely to be the same reason? It runs fine on a Google Pixel 2016 as does the banking app.

I am using a MI 13 Ultra. Device details attached. I did not root it it may have been rooted for EU/UK market by the retailer.

No, if the bank demands MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY, then you have no option other than to use official ROM with locked bootloader.

Indeed it can happen anytime. A certain app design can even impose the restriction without requiring apk update.

Is this likely to be the same reason?

No idea, there's no way to answer only from your screenshots. At the very least a stacktrace is required, but it won't exist if the exit or crash is graceful / deliberate, meaning the app developers themselves create the condition.
