Is Google's Personal Safety app compatible with xiaomi.eu?

I was trying to install Google's Personal Safety app, but on the play store it says "This app won't work for your device"/"Your device isn't compatible with this version".

On the mi.com official guides (https://www.mi.com/my/support/faq/details/KA-507652/) they say it should be under Safety and Emergency, integrated in the OS, but it doesn't appear there for me.

My device is Redmi K60 (mondrian), HyperOS 3.0.8.0 stable by xiaomi.eu. I pass strong integrity and all root detectors, and haven't had problems with any app, so that shouldn't be the problem afaik.

On Reddit there's a user asking if they can debloat the Personal Safety app on their Poco F5, so I'd assume it should be compatible for Redmi K60 (AKA Poco F5 Pro, though mine was bought in China, if that makes a difference). Some other users in the comment say that the app appears on custom ROMs as well, so it should work with xiaomi.eu in principle.

Any idea what could be the issue, and how to fix it? I already tried using a different account.

First of all, I'm using a X15 (dada) OS3.0.303.0, so things might differ slightly.
From what I see, the Google Safety app is preinstalled for some reason, but it is not a system app and can be uninstalled from userspace without any problem. Meaning, it is not integrated into system services or structures.
Also, the area in "Safety & Emergency" in settings provides pretty much the same functionality, though without using Google's "Personal Safety" integration.
Question - why would you even want to install it? From what I remember about the app, there is nothing it could provide that the HyperOS integration doesn't provide already...
