Changing CPU values

Hi folks...

Anyone have any luck with changing max/min speed of the processor?
I have tried with NoFrillsCPUControl and similar, to set the values for the CPU, but nothing seems to "stick". Or actually work!

Anyone else tried and had more luck?

The application No-frills CPU Control seems to work fine:

But for this application to work properly and have the effect you want, your device has to be rooted.
