Charging Cable-new

My changing cable is broken, somethimes is work, somethimes is not.
I like to buy a new one.
But, i am afraid to have a problem of voltage, power etc.
And, can anyone explain me, why when i put my phone to different charging cable, my phone chaging a lot of slower, or faster.

I think it has to do with the different amperage of chargers. More high more fast.

Is your new cable thinner than the original? Sometimes different cables different behaviors...
