Anyway,
I couldn't wait for the chance log. I have flashed to eu rom 8.5.12.0.
As usual, somehow the China based rom cooked by Xiaomi eu is always better than official Global rom in terms of speed and smoothness!
It has Game Boost fucntion and extra stock tones in which they are not available in the official Global rom!

8.5.12.0 has significant improvement over 8.5.10.0 for sure.
You know that. I have tried 8.5.10.0 as the very first rom and trust me. 8.5.12.0 is even better.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm on 8.5.10 eu right now. I started with the China 8.5.10, then the eu beta, but a bit buggy. I haven't tried the global rom though. I've just downloaded the china stale 8.5.12, and now the eu is out. I guess I have to download again.

Go head to update to eu 8.5.12. No worries. It is good.
Global rom, I tried too. It is not going to beat this eu rom 8.5.12 for sure. Trust me again.

Yup. Gotcha, will download it later. The network speed here are so slow. It takes forever to download a rom.

Has not been able to update to 8.5.12.0. Tried via twrp but it says file is corrupted. Any advice? Thanks.

Hmm... I have no idea but could you download the rom one more time and try to flash again?
Try to check the md5 of the file that you have downloaded and compare it with the one listed on the download link. If it is the same, the try to reinstall again. If it is not the same, then download the rom again.
Is it just me, or somebody else is experiencing battery drain. Battery life is worse than the 8.5.10. I can barely manage 2 days, unlike on the previous rom that full battery charge can last 3 days with some juice left. The rom seems snappier though than 8.5.10 eu.
