Hi all!
I have bought a Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G CN Version.
I have unlocked and rooted the phone, and I have used the MiFlash tool to flash a global rom to my device.
It completed rather easily but when the device finished booting up I have noticed a very big issue.
The Sim card keeps reconnecting and disconnecting and I keep getting a pop-up saying "unfortunately com.android.phone has stopped".
I cant seem to get rid of this no matter what I do.
I tried all the methods I could find:
Clearing cache (Both from contacts, phone and sim toolkit) and non seem to work.
Once I restore to a CN ROM, the problem disappears and everything is working flawlessly.
I would highly appreciate any idea or help offered.
Thanks in advance!

Flash xiaomi.eu rom to your device

Flash xiaomi.eu rom to your device
First of all thank you very much for your reply.
Second thing is, I did and I think I am doing it wrong.
I root the phone using Magisk and then when I go into TWRP to install the zip file all folders are encrypted.
So I did the recommended wipe but then it removes the root and wont let me flash it.
Any thoughts?

Format data does not remove root neither does any wipe.
Simply install the magisk manager apk

What rom are you currently on?
Xiaomi.eu or stock rom?

Ok so my phone is rooted after I have used Magisk.
Right now I am on Stock 12.0.8 and I am having trouble flashing the Xiaomi.eu rom.
I am not sure if it has anything to do with it but when I Wipe and at the end of the flashing I recive the following error:
"failed to mount '/system_root' (Invalid argument)
failed to mound '/vendor' (Invalid argument)"

Edit: After this my phone wont boot other than to TWRP no matter what I do unless I will use MiFlash again and flash the stock rom

Then you're not following the procedures well.
I can help.
I'll send a PM

EDIT: I'll post here instead. Though this was the stable thread.

What version of twrp do you use?

Ok, let's try like this.
If you have adb abd fastboot installed on your pc
Put your device in fastboot (power + vol-)
Connect to PC
Type fastboot boot twrp.img

twrp.img stands for the name of the file here

When you boot to twrp do you see any errors like the ones you mentioned here?
failed to mount '/system_root' (Invalid argument)
failed to mound '/vendor' (Invalid argument)
