Hello community

I wanted to tell you about the following problem I have with my Xiaomi 10T pro:

A few days ago I bought a USB-C to 3.5mm Audio adapter Ugreen brand because the one that came with my phone was damaged, a few days of use I realized that the microphone was not enabled when I tried to talk while playing with my friends.

Seeing the problem I tried clearing the app cache and restarting my phone but the problem persisted. Likewise, I tried sending audios via Whatsapp, Messenger and trying other apps like Meet or Discord and generating audios from my cell phone's native recording app but the microphone audio is non-existent.

When I saw the results I thought it was a problem of my headphones, but when I tested the audio and microphone on my personal computer I realized that everything worked perfectly, so I deduced that it is a problem of the adapter and its compatibility with my cell phone and the way they work. Likewise, I tested the adapter with a Poco X6 pro and the problem continued but when I tested it with an Honor cell phone it worked perfectly.

With this in mind, I noticed that when I connected the adapter a floating window pops up that says: “Sound playback via USB” and when I selected it I checked the options without success. I also checked the audio settings of my cell phone but found nothing that could solve my problem, in addition to this I activated the developer options of my cell phone and saw an option called “Disable routing to USB audio” but when I activated it what happened was that I could talk and be heard through the microphone of the headphones but when listening to audio, music and sounds sounded through the speakers of my cell phone. So again I disabled this option to continue listening through the headphones.

I would like to know if anyone has had this problem and has been able to solve it. It should be clarified that my cell phone has never been updated, it is currently on MIUI global 12.0.11 and Android 10 version. Thanks for your help.
