New Contacts are not shared over BT w/ car multimedia systems (Samsung i9505 on 3.11.29)

After pairing the phone with the car, the contacts are not downloading to the car's multimedia system (tried that on a Hyundai ix45). Call placing / answering works fine. Audio routing also works fine.

BTW, when pairing, the phone asks me if I want to share contact details and I confirm that I want to.

Addtionally, when accessing music via BT from the car's interface, no metadata about the song being played is displayed.

On MIUIv4 3.2.22 running on Samsung i9100 all the above was working good.

There's a workaround for the phonebook not syncing over BT: http://www.android-rsap.com/bluetooth-phonebook.html (the trial version confirmed to work w/ v4.4.11 on i9505). Make sure to unpair and pair again after installing the app!

As a bonus, you can now select the group(s) to be synced within the app (good for me as I have a lot of work-related contacts I rarely need to call up directly).
