Only works until you disable the dark mode, so in order to work smoothly you just have to never deactivate or everytime you'll have to flash the zip

I flash your new zip file and when I do it it deactivates my dark mode why?

It should not desactivate dark mode...

Funfact: i was connected with my second email acc. and so i tried to change the internal design of the app, but there wasn't an option... when i change to my main acc. there exists an option to activate an internal darkmode in the google app... and with that setting its working fine

Oh yes, it works fine in Google app without the "fix"... and works bad with it, weird. ^^
But it's fixed in Chrome/Brave browser, no? xD

I found the fix for Google app => Use "Beta" version: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/6307673?hl=en

Do it on your computer => "Sign up as a beta tester" > Follow the "Google (Beta) app" URL link on Google Play Store, click on "Installed" button and select your device to install the Beta on your phone.

"Theme" option will be available in Google app settings (in "General" > bottom of the options list) and you can chose "Dark" or "System detection" to fix the status bar issue.

It should not desactivate dark mode...

It happens when dark mode is scheduled. As I said only works while im already in dark mode, if I deactivate dark mode from notification panel/ control center and then enable it again the fix is lost and I had to flash it again, hope when the first global version hits next 19th the EU team can put the fixes and some stuff to the beta

Anyone facing problem in google app and assistant after updating to miui 12?
On miui 11 20.3.28, the dark mode was perfect
Now on miui 12 is like this, there is combination of white color, not perfect black,some text are still black, not visible

Do you use Google (Beta) version? You should try it if not.

Yes I am using latest google beta 11.8.9
You dont have the dark mode problem in google appp and assistant?

No color issue in dark mode for Google & Assistant apps on my Mi 9T. (Google app version is "11.8.7.21.arm64")

I have same issue on 20.6.18 (perseus)

Tried to download zip file but it is not available anymore.

@Poney70 can you reupload it and confirm it is usable in 20.6.18?

Edit: found the file in https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/dark-mode-wrong-status-bar-color-workarounds.55948/

But as stated there it is still not working 100%
