When you play Fresh via settings->sound and vibrations you can hear it, but when you play it as a default sound in an app (eg Whatsapp -> Notifications -> Notification tone) the first time you don't hear it. You have to select another sound and apply it and then after that you can select the default notification Fresh and hear it. EDIT: But it won't change the sound from the previous sound either. You still have to choosea sound other than Fresh to change the sound.
