Disable lockscreen from notification

I saw that the notification controls have a lock icon which I figured would enable/disable the lockscreen like in CM6.1, but instead it just seems to lock the phone. This doesn't seem to be a very useful function - is it possible to make it enable/disable lockscreen?

I agree. I thought the same thing when I saw it and was also disappointed. It really is useless. If I want the screen off, I press the power button. The space used for that toggle could be used for a hotspot toggle, which would probably be more useful for everyone.

I agree. Hotspots bottom woulb better. And smarter. Good idea
