Do all MIUI versions not work properly with Google Maps' navigation notification?

I do want to try using MIUI for longer than a week, but both stock MIUI and builds from this forum don't work well with Google Maps' navigation notification. The notification should be extended, but it's crushed into one line and I can't see any info from it unless I open notification shade. Also it's broken in the same way on the lock screen. I'd really love to know if there's a fix to this issue
