Do i need to wipe & clean to upgrade?

Just wondering, the first version of MIUI i tried was the version before the current one: 0.11.5

On installation i did a complete wipe & clean to prevent any complications, but i was wondering if this is still needed when updating my MIUI ROM to a newer version?

I just only wipe cache and dalvik-cache for new versions update and works fine, no problems man.

Same here. Haven't had any issues yet with just a Dalvik Cache (and battery stats wipe, as I switched Kernels too to go back to stock) and haven't had a single issue thus far.

Do I need to wipe the battery after upgrading MIUI ?
