Does Wifi proxy work?

I was so excited to see there is a proxy setting there while I didn't get it on any other ROM CM7 or blah blah... However, does this work? I tried it at office, the wifi connection is good, I can get emails from exchange server. Unfortunately, I cannot get internet access even if I set the proxy!!! yep, we're using proxies for internet access at office.

Just checked the wifi proxy works for the builtin browser.

Same with my, try using the proxy but doesnt work for proxy with authentication (need userid and password).

I hope everyone can help.. really need it to setup my exchange email. TQVM.

Sorry, exchange mail ok, no need proxy, just lan network is enough. But problem still exist for accessing internet via authuthenticed proxy.
