I'm glad to hear that!
You have flash it in recovery of course, do you use after that clear cache, maybe clear dalvik cache or just without any clearing (cleaning caches)?

Installed in TWRP recovery without wipe.
In settings > audio I still have forced close when I tap on Dolby audio.
There is a new icon called "Dolby" and there seems to work; I'll try tomorrow using better earphones.

What rom you are using?

Thank u so much. Waited a lot for this.
We always need to put the app opened in the background to have dolby, right? I felt that.
Anyway, really improves the sound quality.

Yes, you are right because I am currently on MoKee 4.4.4 History (150131) and I tried it.
Dolby app must be opened to work, but I locked it in recent apps switcher on Home long press and it always stays in memory, even when I hit close all apps... And yes, it really improves sounds!
I removed DSP Manager - that system app was main for adjusting equalizer, but nothing happens and again Dolby app must have to run in background if you want better sound quality.
Maybe there is another way for this, anyone have a clue?

Please, if someone have tested it post your results here.
We want to see how it works...
Is it work for Miui 6 KitKat ? Thanks for your nice information b4.

With V4A only it is weaker sound (even with extra loud extreme) then Dolby alone, but I use it now together (combined) and sound is stronger even with Dolby set only alone. Thx

I use V4A to have much better sound, not louder.

Does anybody know if it improve the call volume, speaker and headset?
