I also posted this on the miui thread: http://en.miui.com/thread-56582-1-1.html
Dear all,
*USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, I CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR BUGS, ISSUES, BRICKS, ETC*
After upgrading to the latest miui6 dev roms I was unable to play videos in my foxsports app, after checking the debug logs this seemed to be an issue with the libstagefright_httplive.so library/file (and after searching the web it appeared that the newest versions causes some stuttering as well).
So I replaced it with the file from the stable v11 (miui5) version and that seemed to work fine for me. I attached that file to this post...
You have to be rooted for this:
1. Download attached zip and place the extracted stagefright_httplive.so file on your mipad
2. Use your favorite (root) explorer... For me, I used rootexplorer
3. Go to the folder: system\lib
4. Rename 'stagefright_httplive.so' to 'stagefright_httplive.so.org'
5. Copy the 'stagefright_httplive.so' file from step 1 to the 'system\lib' folder
6. Change permissions for this file to rw-r--r-- (which is 744)
7. Reboot
Now all should be working well again
