Earpiece not working after replacing battery

Hi all, I replaced the battery of my mi8 because I had it for 3 years and the autonomy was already low, the rest of the phone was working perfectly so a new battery would give me a new phone. I followed the ifix it manual and all went well. the phone works perfetly except the earpiece it doesnt make any sound when in call. only on free hand sound with the loud speaker. I already tested it at the hardware test menu and still no sound. I already replaced the earpiece for a new one and this too dont make a sound. The piece is not glued or atatched, it just sits there with 2 metal pins connected to the carcase. I didnt even touched it when replacing the battery. Already factory reseted the phone and nothing still. Anybody has any ideia what could it be?

Hello, I have exactly the same problem. I changed a battery in MI8 na earpiece stopped working. Did you find a solution to this problem?
