xiaomi mi2s
android version 4.1.1 jro03l
miui version miui-jlb24.0

I cannot see anywhere under Settings - About Phone that will allow me to turn debugging on. Is it hidden of just not available?

The reason I ask is I have trouble copying files off when I connect to my Windows 7 pc via the usb cable. The device manager says it cannot install the driver correctly (and I have read elsewhere that trying to use the xiaomi_usb_driver.rar does not work).

Thanks for your time.

The usb debugging is in the developer options :)

aditoma,

Whoops - forgot to include that I cannot see developer options :(

Some threads say to press build number 7 times, but that is not applicable here.
But here it is for me

Found it - its funny that sometime things right in front of your eyes appear to be invisible...

Sorry for this post and for wasting your time. :(
