Encryption Question - Mi Note 2

Can anyone tell me, if the encryption is working on the Note 2.
Otherwise the phone is not suitable for corporate use.
No E-mail, Agenda, etc. (Encryption required)

Ok, No one has tried it.
Maybe someone can have a look, if it is available.
There Xiaomi has changed the Android Menu.
It should be somewhere:

Settings > aditional settings > Security

I assume that nobody has been able to find the encryption on the Redmi Note 2.
This limits the Redmi Note 2: Not suitable for professional use.
Only for Kids who do not have corporate e-mail, agenda, etc.

Said, it would have been a nice phone with proper specifications.

Weird. Im not a kid, I have my own Xiaomi service company, many accounts and don't need encryption.

So your theory is false.

Sorry to say, I am not the first who is asking for encryption.
There are to many reviews about this as well. They like the phones, I do as well.
However, do you really think that companies like IBM, KNPC, BASSF, etc
allow access to there server without security. I do not think so.
One of the things they require is encryption.
All of the phones at home, are capable to encrypt
Samsung, Apple, Huawei, but not the Xiaomi.
No encryption limits the users and Xiaomi for professional use.

Theres the option to encrypt the device under security, dont know if it is that what you mean?

I have already a Xiaomi phone, it was bought as experiment. (sadly no encryption)
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 would be a good phone for work and prived use.
Now I know the encryption is there, I can/will buy one.
