Error unlock Bootloader

hi, i'm trying to log in to unlock the bootloader (done many times and never had any problems) only that for a few days it gives me this message:

"account application area query failed. please try again later"

does anyone have a solution?

As this post is 9 yrs old this is a shot in the dark. I am trying to unlock my redmi note 4 bootloader and have tried every sugestion on the net but I always fail to get a validation code either by text or email when I sign into mi unlock tool?
Did you ever get it sorted?
Update. What I was doing wrong, you have to input codes in the blue box until it accepts one then you get the the validation code then you can start unlock process. Had to wait 360 hrs but I then it worked. Yea.

Funny thing. I have put new sim in, but have wiped data and created new mi account with new number. When I tried on other phone with old sim in, I got the validation text. Will try again

try a different network or sim card ... seems like some network doesn't let it run as it is ... use different connection i mean varying provider to get way with that.
