I confirm this issue. Can't add new fingerprints, as I complete the process of putting my finger on the sensor several times it says "can't add fingerprint, try again". Was working fine on an old 8.11 rom version. I made a fresh rom install with data format + all wipes.
Device: redmi 5 (rosy)

In redmi note 5 pro (whyred) works, no problems
