flash a stock rom after the dev build

Dear readers,
please share your thoughts on how to install a stock miui rom (link and instructions from http://en.miui.com/thread-11242-1-1.htmlnn) after the dev build (v3.11.22) that i have now.
1. Can I use the instructions from link above, or I should use the ones from http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/xiaomi-hongmi-td-wcdma-update-guide.22095 but just use the stock rom.
2. do I need to do some wipes . If so, from recovery (I have chineese CWM) or from the miui(just factory reset or any other way)?
3. Based on some threads I've read I'm confused if the root would persist between flashes. I.e. will the phone remain rooted.
4. AFAIK the cwm recovery would be overwritten by the stock one, right? So to flash a dev rom I would have to install cwm again.

AFAI understand, I'll lose the root after flashing the stock rom. Since rooting is always a pain, guess I'll skip trying the stock rom.

I used http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/xiaomi-hongmi-td-wcdma-update-guide.22095 to re-install stock after having problems a while ago with the multi.

It worked absolutely perfectly but I did lose Root.

Rooting isn't that difficult - it is explained very clearly in the above link and only takes a few minutes.
