Google app dark mode

I'm on latest stable MIUI 11. When I turn on dark mode, the Google app doesn't. And I found no global dark mode settings that's there in global ROM. Does Google app dark mode only work on AOSP ROMs?

This comes from Android 10. With android 10, Google app can have dark mode enabled.

MIUI11 on Mi9 runs on Android 10.
