Invalid Google assistant not working with lockscreen - poco f3 miui stable 12.5.4

Since i switched from global rom of poco f3 to xiaomi.eu, the "hey google" from lockscreen doesnt work, it used to work in global rom.
i have mi8 with the latest stable miui 12.5.1 and it works.
i have tried everything in google settings related to voice match, and in voice match it says it works only when the screen is unlocked.
i didnt root my phone, is there a fix i dont know of?

I am having the same issue on the MIX 4, works fine but as soon as the phone locks nothing, its a pest because i control all the lights in my house with it. Sure it will be fixed soon

And this will remain like that, it is also true for all recent and upcoming ROMs for all devices.
The only way to get Voice Match working while screen is off is by not using workarounds for SafetyNet.
We decided that SafetyNet is more important than Voice Match while screen is off.

I found a neat way around this, i forgot i have it on my smart watch, it still works on that even when the phone is asleep.
also saves shouting at the phone
