@LuckyN1ck, did you use TWRP file manager to delete the folder? I used the file manager in Android and it didn't work, but did when I used TWRP.

I also installed Magisk in Android - honestly, don't really know what it does or if it was necessary, but the result is that I have contactless back, at least for now.

Yep, I did it.

Not sure then. Specifically, I installed Magisk, cleared and uninstalled Google pay, went into TWRP, deleted the folder, re-installed gpay and it worked.

Latest TWRP, Magisk & Xiaomi.eu...

I notice my "Play Protect" certification in Google Play has now gone to "not certified". Fresh install of the whole phone and I couldn't get it to accept cards.

Working for anyone now?
