google play store stuck on downloading

Hi

I loaded MIUI 3.4.28 on my SGS2 but when I try downloading an app from google play store it just hangs on downloading.

Some people suggested I should clear google play app cache, but I dont see that options under application any more. How can I do this?

A temporary solution I found was to keep google play in the background then go to settings -->apps---> find google play and stop it. Then open the background google play and the downloaded will begin. However after doing this a few times and rebooting it is now working fine
