What are some SIMPLE ways to improve System storage?

What is this 'simple' you are talking about?

One not so simple solution would be repartitioning the emmc to increase your system storage size.

Another possible option would be to modify mount_ext4.sh in your Rom to bind mount /data to a subfolder in /sdcard.
