How to apply theme on Satusbar? Help!!

I have downloaded many themes from global and Chinese theme store but the problem is that the themes are not applied on statusbar.
I tried many ways: Reboot, disabling dark mode etc but it is still not working. Back in MI ROOM ROM it is working perfectly and it has an option to choose the global or Chinese theme store too. Any help would be appreciated.

miui 11 doesn't fully support older themes. But I've diacovered an workaround. I'll explain it later if I got time

There is same problem on miui 10 too.
