How to create and rename folders for apps

I want to create folders at home screen in order to get my apps organized.
After searching in the net, I realized that -in contrast to what I've read- in my mi2s there is no "new folder" option either in the Settings or in the Widgets menu.
Well, that is solved easily, as I can drag n drop the one app on the other, but in this way, a folder is created with the name "new folder" and there is no option to rename it. Any suggestions?

I haven't been using MIUI (I'm assuming you're using the stock ROM since you didn't mention using any custom rom) for a long time, so I just installed the MiLauncher on my CM11, and it works as I expected:

Yeah, it's the stock MIUI ROM, nothing fancy tricks or mods.

Just found the solution. It was a bug of the theme I was using. I reverted it to the stock theme, so I was able to tap on the name. :)
