How To Install Global Rom Dev. Coming From Xiaomi.eu

Hello

I have two questions.
I have the MI5S with lateste XIAOMI.EU ROM installed.

1.) I would like to install Global ROM EU.
I do not how I can do? Do I need to do factory reset?
Can I download ZIP file and install Global ROM via TWRP,
or should I use Miflash, which will do a factory reset?
Is factory Reset required

2.) currently Android 7 is rolled out.
If I stay on XIAOMI.EU, do I need to do factory reset when it is released.

I had in the past the older MI5 with Global ROM with the update to ANdroid 7 a factory reset was not required.
But I experienced problems with other XIAOMI.EU ROM when I just changed e.g. from MIUI 7 to MIUI 8. Was only working after factory reset.

I dirty flashed from xiaomi.eu to China dev which is based on 7.0 and it worked right. Google services got messed up however. But later made myself a patch and got them working.
