How to install official ROM on Xiaomi Redmi 1S with no Updater app?

Hello

I purchased a Redmi 1S from AliExpress but the phone came with an unofficial ROM with multiple languages and there is no Updater app in this ROM and when I click System Updates in SETTINGS, it sends me to Main Screen.

I contacted the buyer and he said that they installed an unofficial ROM with Multilanguage, and they Rooted it.

If I do a Factory Reset will I get Official ROM and still keep Root Access?

Flash stock rom via MiFlash and then flash Multilang rom from this site via updater.

Download Rom (MI stock rom zip file) from MI site(Google it) boot in MI recovery & update with zip!! Wipe data/cache before & after update! Back up imp data first!!
