How to set MMS picture as wallpaper?

Ive been fiddling around with my phone for hours trying to set a picture I recieved in an mms as my wallpaper, can anybody help me?,

Long press the picture in your MMS to save it to your SD card. You can then find the picture in the folder named MMS Pictures. Go to Wallpaper Settings and select Other and find the MMS Pictures folder. You can select the picture you want to set as your wallpaper

But when I do that it only gives me options to Favorite, Fowrward, ect
And when I look at it through gallery the menu on the bottom will not show,
Help?,

I use Handcent SMS and it gives me the option to copy to SD Card
