How To Uninstall Mi Calendar Keep Google Calendar

Having moved to Redmi 3S from a MotoG I want to keep my google calendar, contacts and so on.

I just use google calendar, but whenever I add an appointment it also gets added to the Mi calendar, and when the time arrives I get two reminders.

I can't find out how to UNinstall the Mi calendar Thanks for any help

I think you can't uninstall Mi Calendar app unless you have root. I also use Google Calendar, and as I'm not rooted, I just disabled any and all notifications from Mi Calendar from the settings
