HTC Desire - Internal Storage space disappearing

Earlier today my internal app storage was about 20-25mb. But now my phone is reporting less them 1mb.

Now I am thinking this could be to dropbox (recently added some huge files to it) so I uninstalled it from my phone. Yet it made no real difference too the storage space.

Does dropbox for Android store files internally? If so, where?

Using 1.7.22 btw.

This also happened on 1.7.15, I had to format the entire phone.

Can I just add to this. I've had the exact same issue with 1.7.15 R1. I've flashed to R2...it seems stable. At the moment anyway.
