How can I return to a stock rom? I love MIUI but at the moment I want to go back to stock for a little while. How can I do this? Thank you.

Go find the right RUU for your Evo. Or, just go poke around on XDA for a few minutes. Why you'd want to go back to stock unless you're warranty returning your phone though, I have no clue.

Use this pc36img , put it in ur sdcard load ur boot loader but turning off ur phone., then volume down and power bottom at the same time ... One ur in boot loader. Let it search for the zip then press volume up and let it do it's thing
