New I cannot change the wallpaper or the theme

Hey guys! I'm having problems: I recently updated MIUI.EU on my Xiaomi Mi 10S, and I'm currently on (stable) version V 14.0.6.0. Before updating, I was using a rather old version of MIUI.EU (I believe some version of MIUI 12). I also used the Wallpaper Carousel application. However, after the update, My wallpaper automatically changed to a system default and I can no longer change it. I've already tried deleting the data from the Themes app and even the Settings. I can't even change the phone's theme, in fact the icons change to the chosen theme, but the background remains the same. I discovered that in Second Space this is not happening. Please, if you could help me solve this problem I would be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance for any help!

I too am having this issue, is there any fix?

EDIT: I was able to fix the issue by reinstalling the basic miui apps (I recently debloated my phone so I reinstalled some of the important apps).

thank you! I think if I reinstall the Themes App this will work again. But I don't know how to do this. You can explain how you reinstall? Thanks again for the help.
