Hi guys,

Every time i flash it, powershell runs correctly no errors or anything but when i tell it to boot twrp my phone just goes out of fastboot and has a blank black screen. Anyone have any idea whats causing this, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Try this:
1) Copy twrp.img to your phone.
2) Copy twrp.img to the same folder fastboot is located.
3) fastboot boot twrp.img
* Should boot to TWRP now.
4) In TWRP, Install -> Install Image -> select "twrp.img", then choose "Recovery" and confirm flashing.
5) Reboot -> Recovery
See if it boots to TWRP now.

Also, don't report TWRP issues here. TWRP has nothing to do with the ROM.

Unfortunately this didn't seem to work it gave me the same issue as before, i copied twrp.img file into my phones storage and into the folder on my pc where fastboot is located. Then i did fastboot boot twrp.img in powershell but still no luck :(
Is there anywhere specific i should put it in my phone?
Is it the TWRP version? i have tried many and none seem to work.

I am really at a loss tbh xD

Latest compiled and tested solution is in this topic:

MI8 SE twrp issue is really a big mess.
We can't complain against XIAOMI China because this phone is 100% chinese market and we have to live with their ROM modifications.
