I Need Help With The Update

Hi! Recently (on Wednesday) I bought a Xiaomi Mi4C with the following MIUI version: "MIUI Global 7.5 | Stable 7.5.1.0.0 (LXKCNDD)". Is it ok if I use the updater to update to "xiaomi.eu_multi_MI4c_V8.0.1.0.LXKCNDG_v8-5.1"? In CPU-Z under bootloader is written "Unkown". Thanks!

You need to unlock it first. Then install TWRP recovery, wipe cache, dalvik, data and system and and install xiaomi.eu rom.

If i do wipe system i will lose all the data i have, right?
Can you be kind and share some tutorial to change from MIUI7 to MIUI8 with all the wipes pls?

Ok, thanks for the info! I'm waiting for the bootloader unlock SMS. After this, I'll install TWRP and the EU ROM.

I followed that guide, I've unlocked my device, flashed TWRP and installed "xiaomi.eu_multi_MI4c_V8.0.1.0.LXKCNDG_v8-5.1". The device is working perfectly. Thank you all!
