Install magisk

Hi all,

I need your help please to install magisk and use app like Gpay or at least my banking app.

My banking app was working fine until I decided to install a different version of Magisk.

I tried to flash through TWRP the zip magisk APK but I always end up with Installed N/A (see screenshot).

Now this is where I am now. Stuck without full root (see attachment), without Magisk fully working and my banking app not working.

I am running MIUI 10.5 by xiaomi.eu 9.8.1 on 84Hz and didn't update my phone for a while. I don't have any issues so not planning to update unless I can keep the 84Hz.

Can you please advise me at least how to bring back Magisk.

Install magisk 21.4 ZIP in TWRP

Install / Open magisk app 23.0
Install Magisk 23.0 from APP - using "direct" install (recommended) method in app.

Reboot & you have magisk 23.0
If you want you can stay on magisk 21.4 also

I have this issue as well, on Mi10 ultra and latest dev build.
Installed Magisk 25.1 app. It says "installed n/a"
Renamed the apk to zip and installed via TWRP, rebooted. App still says installed n/a.
Extracted boot.img ad patched it with app. Flashed it via fastboot. App still says installed n/a.
What now?

I have the same issue in Magisk on Magisk 25.1 Today I update Magisk Zip 25.2 then problem solved. I'm install first Magisk APK 25.2 and Flashing Magisk Zip 25.2 from TWRP.

Watch when you flash Magisk Zip file from TWRP how much time tack to repacking the boot.img. should be take more then 45 second.
