Install Xiaomi.eu Rom Problem With Redmi5

I tried to install a xiaomi.eu rom to my redmi5, but did not succeed.
First, I am pretty sure that I have unlocked my device. A icon of unlocked lock with "Unlock" can be seen in the first couple of seconds when my phone starts booting.

Then, I tried to flash twrp image with adb while my redmi5 is in fastboot mode.
"fastboot devices"
#my device is listed.
"fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"
#It only takes like 1s to flash the image, which I think a little strange.
"fastboot reboot".
#The device boots to miui instead of twrp.

Later when I vol. up + power, the phone boots to "mi recovery". It means that I did not succeed with the twrp flashing.
Can someone tell me what's wrong with my process?

After flashing TWPR boot into recovery.... " fastboot boot recovery.img "

Here is another question: How do I copy install.zip to internal storage? With adb?

"adb push install.zip /sdcard"? I am not sure whether it is ok if I push the install.zip to /sdcard.

Yes that will work ...an easier way is to connect your device to a PC and just copy and paste the install.zip into a folder...I.E. Download folder....

Yes, that's a good idea. But, it seems like that I cannot boot into the system right now. The phone stops at the "Mi and Unlocked" screen like for ever.
